Constants Reference Window
UltimaCalc contains a reference table for more than a hundred constants. To gain access, select the
menu item View / Constants Reference.
To quickly zoom in on the constant you require, type in one or more words. As you type, the items that do not match will be hidden. For example, if you type the word 'earth', UltimaCalc will display only those items that contain the word 'earth'. You can scroll through these, or add another keyword. For example, if you typed 'earth mass', UltimaCalc would show just a single item, the mass of the Earth.
Once you have found the item you are looking for, click on it to highlight it, then click on 'OK'. Alternatively, you can double click the item. In either case, the value of the selected constant will be pasted into UltimaCalc's main window at the current position of the cursor. If you had selected a block of text in UltimaCalc's main window, this text will be replaced by the value of the constant.
