Multiple Monitors
Sometimes, when doing complicated jobs, a single monitor, even a large one, just does not provide enough screen real estate for all the programs and documents you need to refer to. Once you have used two monitors on a single computer, you will never want to return to using just the one.
UltimaCalc was designed with multiple monitors in mind. All major windows try to open in the same position that they were last opened in. However, this may sometimes not be possible. Perhaps the monitors were swapped over, or the screen resolution was reduced.
Therefore, when a window is about to be opened, its intended position will be compared with the total visible area of screen, and the window will be opened as close as possible to where it used to be. This may mean that it will move to another monitor.
