Options – Calendar
This window is accessed via the menu item Options / Other
and selecting the 'Calendar' tab.
Calendar Reform Date
UltimaCalc can handle the change from the old Julian calendar to the modern Gregorian calendar. You can choose either 1582 (for Catholic countries, Spain, France, etc.) or 1752 (for the UK, Canada, USA, etc.). The text in the window gives the details of when these two changes occurred.
To give a wider range of options would be difficult - the whole subject is very complicated, and even the
authorities on the subject seem to not agree on the precise dates of some changes. Some countries even
kept switching to and fro for several years. Other countries, such as Russia and Greece, did not change
their calendar until well into the 20th century.
