Options - Paths
This window is accessed via the menu item Options / Other and clicking on the 'Paths' tab.
Path to Log file
This box shows you where the log file is stored. To specify a path, click on the 'Browse' button to the right. If you have not specified this path, and you wish to log calculations from inside a special tool window, you will be invited to come to this options window to set up the path.
Note that the log file is a plain text file, and it is therefore advisable to use a .txt extension when naming it.
Enable logging
When this box is checked, all calculations performed in the main UltimaCalc window, and many of the calculations performed in other windows that UltimaCalc opens, will be saved to the log file specified. Some windows allow you to write results to the log file even if this option is not selected.
Path to Variables file
This box shows you the file in which the definitions of variables, constants, and user-defined functions are stored. To specify a path, click on the 'Browse' button to the right.
Note that the variables file is a plain text file, and it is therefore advisable to use a .txt
extension when naming it.
These paths are remembered by UltimaCalc for future reference.
