Registration
You do not need to register in order to use this Web site. We at UltimaCalc do not collect any personally identifiable information from our visitors to this Web site, except as detailed below.
Purchases
When you purchase a product license from us, the transaction will be handled by our reseller's secure site. We use Plimus, Inc. as our reseller to fulfil orders and process credit card or other forms of payment. In order to do this, Plimus will request certain personally identifiable information from you on their order form. You will be asked to provide contact information (such as your name, email address, postal address and telephone number) and financial information (such as credit card number and expiration date). When an order is completed, Plimus will send us your name, email address, postal address, telephone number, details of what was purchased, and a copy of the software licence key. We keep this information as confirmation of the purchase and to assist us in providing support when asked. Plimus do not send us your financial information.
Surveys
Within a few weeks of your making a purchase, we may send you one email only, in order to request feedback from you. We use any information you supply in response to this email to help us to develop our products. If you wish, you need not respond to this email. No further emails will be sent to you unless in response to a communication from you that indicates that a reply is expected, for example a support question. We will not share with any third party any information you supply to us.
Special Offers and Updates
We currently have no plans to contact individuals directly about special offers and updates. Instead, we recommend that you periodically visit the web site to look for announcements. The most convenient way to do this is to click on the 'Check for Updates' menu item on the product. If you use this method, certain information will be sent to the web site. The information sent is the product's version number, its build number, and its build date. This information enables the web site to decide whether your version is the most recent. No other information is sent.
Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us when you make a purchase, we may send you an email requesting feedback on the product (as mentioned above). We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide product support. This will be by email or by telephone, in accordance with your wishes.
